Brighter Community Resources is hosting a hands-on, service-focused retreat in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. Participants will help local schools, families, and the environment — all while exploring the beautiful culture and nature of Costa Rica.

This is your chance to travel with purpose, connect with others, and make a difference.

Each retreat includes meaningful, hands-on projects like:

Repairing and painting school buildings
Donating supplies, clothing, and shoes to children
Distributing food kits to local families
Beach and ocean cleanups
Assisting families with home repairs and yard work

Your experience also includes:

6 days / 5 nights in Costa Rica
Lodging, meals, and local transportation
Daily service projects
Cultural immersion activities

Flights:
Airfare is not included in the program price. Participants are responsible for booking and covering the cost of their own flights.

Airport Transportation:
We provide transportation from Liberia Airport (LIR). If you choose to fly into San José Airport (SJO), you will be responsible for arranging and covering your transportation to Liberia.

Dietary Accommodations:
We offer general dietary options including vegetarian and gluten-free meals for an additional cost.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

70% refund if canceled 2 months in advance

50% refund if canceled 1 month in advance

25% refund if canceled 2 weeks in advance

0% refund if canceled 1 week in advance
